Meet our School Administrators
David Branham
Dear Knight Family,
Welcome to the North Central High School website, home of the Knights. We are excited about this school year and the possibilities that it brings. At North Central High School it is our vision to empower and challenge all students to reach their full potential. We provide a safe environment for our students and staff. Our goal is to develop well rounded students who are equipped to be successful in all aspects of their lives.
Knights are expected to work hard, respect others, promote kindness, and be model citizens in our community. We appreciate the support that we receive from our parents and community to instill these characteristics in our students. Through a team effort North Central High School provides its students an educational experience that can take them anywhere.
With Knight Pride,
David Branham Jr

I am honored and privileged to be part of the Knight Family!
I come to North Central High with seven years of school administration experience. I have served as an administrator at Westwood High School in Richland Two, Advantage Academy (the career center) in Florence One, and South Florence High School in Florence One. Before becoming a school administrator, I spent 18 years as a band director and music educator in Tennessee and here in South Carolina. I earned Certification as an AP Music Theory Instructor and National Board Certification in Early Adolescent / Young Adulthood Music.
I earned a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Instrumental Music Education at the University of Tennessee and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.
I am a member of the Palmetto State Teachers Association and the South Carolina Association of School Administrators. I still enjoy playing clarinet or bass clarinet in community ensembles as much as possible.
