NCHS Teacher of the Year Karen Hill!
Congratulations to Mrs. Karen Hill, our Teacher of the Year for 2023. Mrs. Hill was also a district Honor Roll Finalist and recieved special recognition during the District Teacher of the Year Gala from Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin and School Board Chair Dr. James Smith.

Kershaw County School District will be on a regular school schedule on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. After-school activities and events will also resume on Wednesday.

Kershaw County School District is shifting to an e-Learning Day for Tuesday, February 3, due to hazardous road conditions in the rural areas of Kershaw County including snow and ice accumulation. All school buildings and offices will be closed. All Tuesday after school activities are also cancelled.

Kershaw County School District is shifting to an e-Learning Day for Monday, February 2, due to the high probability of hazardous travel conditions as a result of this weekend’s winter weather. All school buildings and offices will be closed. All Monday after school activities are also cancelled.

Kershaw County School District is canceling all weekend activities (Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1) as anticipated severe winter weather is forecasted for our area. All school buildings and offices will be closed this weekend.
The KCSD Teacher Career Fair scheduled for Saturday, January 31, is rescheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026.
